This quote is probably something that most people have thought at some point. It’s a really good point, though. The problem is that people can hide things from you, but they can’t hide the fact that they are doing it. A person will say that they have nothing to hide, but that doesn’t mean that they are telling you the truth. You can trust someone who doesn’t try to hide things from you, but if they are hiding things from you, then you have no reason to trust them with your secrets.
